FAQ

Questions sellers ask us most

Formats, marketplace rules, credits and refunds — answered in plain language.

What image formats can I upload?
JPG, PNG and WebP, up to 10 MB each. iPhone HEIC photos need converting first (share the photo as JPG, or use Most Compatible in camera settings). A sharp source of about 1500 × 1500px or larger gives the best detail.
Can I control tone and style in detail?
Yes. Every generation accepts an optional plain-language brief plus structured choices — lighting mood (studio, clean, premium, minimal, luxury, bold, lifestyle), background (warm white, studio gray, lifestyle scene, cut-out white, bold orange, deep plum), and product category. Cut-out white is plain white with no shadow, so the product is easy to lift off in any editor. Marketplace presets are applied when you export. Each tool shows the exact credit cost before you start.
Are outputs marketplace-ready out of the box?
Pick an export preset and each file is sized and padded to that marketplace's spec — 2000 × 2000 on pure white at 85% fill for Amazon, 2048 × 2048 for Shopify, 2000 × 2000 for Etsy, plus TikTok Shop, Instagram Shop, Pinterest, and Google Shopping. For Flipkart, Walmart, eBay, Meesho, or your own PDP, use a custom size (any width × height; pure white or original background; JPEG, PNG, or WebP). Exports are free on every plan.
Is this suitable for Amazon and Flipkart listings?
Yes. The Amazon export preset outputs 2000 × 2000 JPEGs on a pure-white canvas with the product filling 85% of the frame; for Flipkart, export a custom 2000 × 2000 with a white background. No output carries a watermark. Use lifestyle shots for secondary slots, and check each hero against the marketplace's image policy before you publish.
Can I use several photos of the same product?
Yes. The gallery, A+ and full-listing tools accept up to 8 photos of one product, so the AI sees every side. Product angles work from a single photo. Each product is generated as its own run.
What happens if an image fails?
Credits for any image that fails are refunded to your balance automatically. You only pay for images you actually receive.
What is AI product photography?
AI product photography is the use of artificial intelligence to create, edit, and multiply e-commerce product photos from a single source image — generating new backgrounds, removing backgrounds, synthesising new camera angles, and building lifestyle scenes. AngleForge is an AI product photography generator that turns one photo into a complete, marketplace-ready listing set.
Is there a free AI product photography tool I can try?
Yes. Every new account starts with 6 free credits — no credit card required — which is enough for 3 product images and to see what AngleForge produces. Sign in, upload a photo, and generate your test images for free. After that, buy a one-time pack from $12 / 30 credits or subscribe.
Can AngleForge make product videos?
Yes. The product video tool turns one product photo into a short silent clip with a camera move you pick (orbit, turntable spin, push-in, lifestyle scene and more), in 16:9 for Amazon and YouTube or 9:16 for TikTok Shop and Reels. Standard 720p clips cost 8 or 15 credits and HD 1080p 12 or 22, and a render that fails is refunded.
Is product video part of the free credits?
No. Video costs real money to render, so it is for customers: any credit pack or plan unlocks it, from $12. The 6 free signup credits are for 3 product images, and the video tool shows example clips before you buy.
Can I generate a product background for free?
Yes, for 3 test images — your 6 free signup credits cover 3 images with a new background (a clean backdrop exported on pure white for Amazon, a lifestyle scene for Etsy and social, or a studio-gray backdrop). Unlike basic removers, AngleForge rebuilds realistic shadows so the product doesn't look pasted on. No credit card required to start; after that, buy a credit pack or a plan.
How do I remove the background from a product photo?
Upload your photo to AngleForge's background remover and the AI separates the product automatically — no Photoshop or manual masking, even on hard edges like glass and mesh. You get a true-white marketplace hero with a rebuilt contact shadow, or the product on studio gray or in a lifestyle scene. Your 6 free signup credits let you try it on 3 images; after that, buy a credit pack or a plan.
Are AI-generated product photos allowed on marketplaces?
Yes. Amazon, Shopify, Etsy, Flipkart, Walmart, eBay, and Meesho all permit AI-generated product imagery, provided the image accurately represents the product the buyer receives and meets each platform's technical spec (white background, frame fill, resolution); for used items, eBay expects photos of the actual item. AngleForge has export presets for Amazon, Shopify, Etsy, TikTok Shop, Instagram Shop, Pinterest, and Google Shopping, plus a custom size for any other marketplace.
Do unused credits roll over?
Plan credits don't roll over. Each month they refill to your plan's monthly amount (120 on Starter, 350 on Pro, 1,400 on Studio), including on yearly plans. Credits from one-time packs and your free signup credits never expire, and they stay on top of your plan credits when your plan renews. Plan credits are used first.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from Billing in your dashboard. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, then it doesn't renew. After that, plan credits stop refilling. Credits from one-time packs never expire and stay on your account.
How do refunds work?
If an image fails, its credits go back to your balance automatically. To ask for a refund of a payment, email [email protected] with the date and amount of the charge. If a payment is refunded, the credits it bought are removed from your balance.
How does yearly billing work?
You pay for the year up front at a lower monthly rate: Starter is $24 a month instead of $29, Pro $65 instead of $78, and Studio $209 instead of $248. Your plan credits still refill every month, and the plan renews each year until you cancel.
Who owns the images I make?
You keep ownership of the photos you upload, and you have full commercial rights to every image AngleForge makes from a photo you own. We don't claim ownership of your content, and we don't train AI models on your uploads.
